Jim Pipkin, will sing western stories and songs at Lost Dutchman State Park on February 12th

Jim Pipkin is one of the top flatpickers and songwriters in Arizona. He has performed his original songs on hundreds of stages over the years from Nashville’s Bluebird Cafe to the now-defunct Union Grove Fiddler’s Convention in North Carolina. Pipkin has been the opening act for Rosanne Cash, JJ Cale, Bill Danoff and Beth Nielsen Chapman which has provided him with an interesting range of experiences. He has appeared by invitation at the World Folk Showcase in Washington DC, and has represented Arizona’s songwriting tradition as a guest of both the State of Arizona and the Folklore Society of Greater Washington at the FSGW’s annual Getaway at Camp Letts, Maryland.

Come join us Saturday February 12, 6:30 pm at Lost Dutchman State Park 6109 N, Apache Trail, Apache Junction. His program is scheduled in the Siphon Draw Parking/Picnic area. There will be a blazing warm campfire. Be certain to dress warmly and bring your chair.. Entry fee will be $7.00 per vehicle or with your annual pass. For questions please call 480-982-4485.
